On Wednesday morning GHS senior Kylah Pearcy signed a college letter of intent to play basketball for the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. Kylah is a two-time state champion and two-time All-State player for the Lady Bulldogs. She is also a member of the All-River Valley team and a 1,000+ points scorer during her three years as a varsity player. She is also the undisputed leader of this year's squad and is off to a great start, averaging over 25 points a game through three contests. She is also the daughter of Dexter and Chelsea Pearcy. Dexter is the GHS tennis coach and the varsity assistant boys basketball coach. Chelsea and Kylah both played for the same coach, the legendary Clay Reeves, who led the GHS girls to eight state titles. Her current head coach is Ryan Casalman. Good luck this season, Kylah, and congratulations on your college choice.
