Last Saturday, January 21st, the Greenwood High School wrestling program sponsored a huge youth tournament at H.B. Stewart Arena. Over 270 youngsters attended and participated, ranging in age from pre-school to 15 years old.
The Bulldog Brawl featured 19 youth teams from Arkansas and Western Oklahoma. GHS wrestling coach John Kincade and members of the wrestling booster club organized the event. Kincade provided the following results for the Arkansas Warthawgs of Greenwood:
Div. I (6 & under) - Ty Kennedy, 2nd @ 37 lbs.; Isaac Carson, 4th @ 55 lbs., and Gavin Bracamontes, 3rd @ 60 lbs.
Div. II (8 & under) - Ridik Lawless, didn't place.
Div. III (10 & under) - Jonathan Aubrey, 2nd @ 52 lbs.; Jackson Witherington, 2nd @ 67-70 lbs.; Parker Branton, 3rd @ 67-70 lbs.; Gavin Monchamp, 1st @ 73-76 lbs.; Dawson Miller, 4th @ 73-76 lbs.; Malachi Yoder, 2nd @ 80 lbs.; others included Farrah Crossno, John Williamson, and Gage Hanna.

On January 7th several local youth wrestlers competed in a tournament at Russellville. Greenwood finished 3rd overall in the team standings behind Springdale and Little Rock Academy. Medals were given for all 1st-4th place winners. The results were as follows:
