The Little Rock Christian Warriors were stunned Friday night when the Bulldogs pounced on them in the first quarter going 201 yards and scoring 35 points in twelve minutes. "I was very happy with the way that we came out," said coach Jones. "For two years we have started games slow and we wanted to emphasis a fast start and jump on these guys."

The warriors won the coin toss but would give the ball up on their fist drive with an interception on their own 45. Tyler Wilson and company took to the field, Wilson took his first snap looked down field and completed a pass to Josh Hogan who would run to the Warriors 5 yard line where William Ridener would take the ball in untouched setting up the point after attempt by Austin Hartnett.

The Bulldog defense would force Little Rock to punt no the next drive. A bad punt would allow Greenwood to take over on the Warriors 20-yard line. Wilson would run the ball in himself and point after attempt would make the score 14-0 6:43 left in the first quarter. The Warriors would almost immediately give the ball back to Greenwood on a fumble at the Little Rock 37-yard line, Nathan Staton and William Ridener combined to drive the ball down field and William would take it in for his second TD of the night.

Little Rock Christian would finally hold the Bulldogs and force them to punt. The Warrior would score on a long pass, but their field goal attempt would be blocked by Jared Morris to make the score 6-21 in Greenwoods favor.

Greenwood would take the kick off all the way down to the five yard and would get stuck, but a pass interference call on Little Rock would give the Bulldogs a fresh set of down and Wilson would run it in for his second score of the night.

The Bulldogs would get the ball back on Warriors next drive as Kuhn would surrender his second interception of the game to Travis Sandifer. Wilson would on the very next play complete his pass to Nathan Staton for a 46-yard touchdown to make the score 34-6 to end the first quarter.

The second quarter would start off promising for Little Rock, the Warriors marched to the end zone from the 22-yard line to score another touchdown but, once again would be unable to make the field goal.

Jared Morris would make a great catch and be shoved out of bounds just short of the goal line on the six-yard line. William Ridener would pick his third score of the night pushing through the Warrior defense.

Little Rock would begin to make their way down field when a fumble would find its way in to Tony Kershaw’s hands. Matt Sindelar would get in on the act at the end of the second quarter and run the ball in for a touchdown the final score of the game.

Freshman Kicker Austin Harnett joined up with the Bulldogs and was flawless in seven point after attempts. "He is no longer a ninth grade kicker," said Jones "The way the rules are once he kicks with us he is stuck with us. Austin has been traveling with us ever since the Poteau game as our backup kicker. I am really proud of him he was unbelievable tonight. I am glad he was busy, that was a good thing."

The much anticipated Greenwood, Alma game will be Friday night at Smith Robinson Stadium at 7:30. Show up early to get a good seat; gates will open at 5:30.
