The legacy that former Bulldog head coach Ronnie Peacock started continues with current head coach Rick Jones in the Senior Father/Son Weekend.
Peacock started the retreat as a bonding experience for the father and sons. It's some quality time to make a memory with during the time together. Several actives are done during the weekend to make it a learning experience for both.
I was honored to be invited to attend this year to document what this weekend is all about. Fun, bonding, competition, relaxation and a ton of football talk!
I'll break down what I can with each section of pictures. Some moments though aren't meant to be shared.

Bulldog Football It's More Than A Game
Senior Father/Son Weekend
The annual senior players vs coaches volleyball game. The players took the coaches to a draw this year with the first group of seniors beating the coaches, second group lost to the coaches and in a rematch the first group and coaches split in games. The coaches have won the previous 3 years.
This was Friday evening after arriving at camp. The father and sons took about a 20 minute hike together. Going up the son's were blindfolded and the dads had to get their sons up and through the obstacles of the hike by voice and touching to keep them safe and show them the way.
Coming back down it was the father's turn to be blindfolded and the son's turn to guide them safely back down.
