According to Harrison head coach Tom Tice his Harrison Golden Goblins were playing the University of Greenwood. Harrison came into the game 4-0 and averaging 44 points a game. Greenwood came into the game 3-1 and ranked #1 in 5A in the state.

The Bulldogs would dominate the first quarter on both sides of the ball storming out to a 14-0 lead on scores by CJ McCraney on a 6-yard pass from Wilson and Matt Sindelar on a 1-yard run. The defense pressured Harrison Matt Brown all night long.

Greenwood would extend their lead to 21-0 with 9:18 left before the half on a 3-yard run by Matt Sindelar.

Harrison ranked #3 in the state, as expected did not go quietly into the night on the banks of Crooked Creek and battled back to cut the lead to 21-14 at the half.

The Golden Goblins with all the momentum on their side after a couple turnovers and quick scores tied the game at 21 all in the third quarter.

Coming into this game, it was billed as the possible Conference Championship game and the Bulldogs would go back to championship form and dominated the fourth quarter added the two game winning touchdowns on a 12-yard touchdown pass to CJ McCraney and 4-yard run by Matt Sindelar.

The Bulldog defense in the final quarter held the Goblins to no first downs and only 1 yard of offense.

With the win over Harrison, The Bulldogs are sitting just where they want to be. Undefeated in conference along with Siloam Springs and Little Rock Christian.

The Bulldogs will travel to Vilonia on Friday night looking to revenge the homecoming loss to the Eagles from last season. The Eagles were expected to be one of the top teams in the conference coming into the season has lost their last 3 games.
