The Bulldogs weren't about to let what happened a year ago at homecoming happen again.

The Bulldogs scored quickly on a 10-yard pass from Tyler Wilson to CJ McCraney with 10:41 to go in the first quarter. Then added 3 more points at the 6:32 to mark on a 12-yard field goal by Austin Hartness.

Greenbrier though winless in conference would not go quietly and pulled to within 4 as the first quarter ended 10-6.

That Greenbrier score must have been the wake up call for the Bulldogs as they came alive in the second quarter scoring 28 points and putting the game away.

Zach Turpin hauled in a 45-yard pass from Tyler Wilson midway through the second quarter, but before and after that catch by Turpin the quarter belonged to Travis Sandifer who scored touchdown passes of 30, 21 and 12-yards from Tyler Wilson.

Josh Hogan scored the Bulldog's final touchdown of the night putting the game in the Mercy Rule on a 17-yard touchdown pass.

Austin Hartness was perfect on the again in the extra points department.

Now with homecoming out of the way, the Bulldogs turn their attention to the heart of their conference schedule with three conference games remaining, the conference championship, #1 playoff seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Friday night will be Senior Night and depending on the out come of the next 3 weeks, could possibly be the last time these seniors play at Smith Robinson. The team is working hard to prepare and make sure that the month of November is back at Smith Robinson, they want the fans to work just as hard and be their 12th Man on the field, starting this week against a tough Siloam Springs team.

"Siloam's a really good football team," said Bulldog head coach Rick Jones. "They're really solid, we've seen a lot of tape on them, they're physical, they have good speed."

"They're quarterback is playing really well, they had a track meet last week at Little Rock Christian (55-48), they just ran up and down the field on Little Rock Chrisitan and they have done the same thing on everybody they've seen this year, scoring a ton of points. Our defense will have a big challenge. They're really balanced running and throwing the ball and on defense are really aggressive, play really sound in the secondary. It's going to take a great effort." said Jones.

This will be the biggest game so far this year in front of the home crowd and the Bulldogs and Coach Jones encourage all fans to not just be at the game, but to be their 12th Man and be apart of the game.

"Our guys really respond to playing at home and playing in front of the home fans," said Jones. "If they've been waiting or holding back anything, they need to come out Friday night and let it go and have a great time."

Harrison head coach Tommy Tice was impressed with the Greenwood crowd that showed up on the banks of Crooked Creek a few weeks ago, challenging his own fans to put the magic back at Crooked Creek.

Tice told Bennet Horne of GoldenGoblins.com, "We’ve got to get the passion and fire of playing on Crooked Creek back,” said Harrison coach Tommy Tice. “Their fans came to get after us. When Greenwood came out onto the field their people were over there screaming so much I didn’t know what was going on. It was very impressive.”

"I think Coach Tice said it better than I can," said Bulldog head coach Rick Jones. "Our fans are fantastic, it doesn't matter wheather we're playing on Crooked Creek or Smith Robinson, we sort of have the home field advantage where ever we go."

This is the week the team and fans get into playoff mode. Around 800 fans rattle legendary Coach Tice, imagine what 5,000 can do at Smith Robinson. The players are busy playing the game, the stadium can be packed, but they don't have time to look, but they can hear, during each play.

If you need a cue on what to do, take a look at our student section. Home or away, they are ROCKIN' and having a great time!

We know Siloam Springs is going whethero bring a Alma size crowd and they're going to be rowdy, as Siloam Springs is still in the conference championship hunt.

YOUR, 2x defending State Champions will take the field for pregame warm up at 6:20 PM, Friday night, be there and let Siloam know when the State Champs come on to the field each time during warm up!

Senior night activities will begin at 7:00 PM and kick off is set for 7:30.
