7 on 7 competition between Greenwood, Alma and Southside resumed on Tuesday.
"The second 7 on 7, we just made to many mental errors," said Bulldog head coach Rick Jones. "We put some stuff in and made some changes from the spring to the start of FASDOGS, so it's been a little bit of a learning curve. It's going well, the kids are playing hard, we're having a good time."
Jones goal to get out of the 7 on 7's over the summer is to find out who will compete and execute for the Bulldogs.
"The main thing is to see who competes against other guys, said Jones. "Who makes plays, that's something that always stands out is to have a guy go out there and make plays against two good football teams."
The next 7 on 7 is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday July 11 at Greenwood's Smith-Robinson Stadium again with Alma and Southside. It is open for the public.
