   6-6-06 Daniel is drafted in the 7th round of the MLB Draft to the New York Mets. He will sign with the Mets and will report to their minor league club soon. It's a dream come true for Daniel. He's already a Legend in Greenwood, now to the bigger stage.

   5-13-06 Daniel hits a Grand Slam in the Top of the 9th Inning with two outs to put Greenwood ahead to win the AAAA State Baseball Championship over Crossett.

   1-22-06 Daniel In A Unbelievable Turn Of Events Over The Past 4 Days Has Decommitted To Arkansas State To Commit To The University Of Miami. The Hurricane's First Contacted The All State Quarterback On Thursday Evening Showing Interest. By The Weekend, A Offer To Go To Miami Was On The Table. Sunday Evening Stegall Took The Offer And Commit To Miami And Is Extremely Excited To Have The Chance To Play At A Top ACC School. He Is Planning An Official Visit To South Florida Soon And Will Meet With Miami Baseball Coaches Also.
