The Greenwood Bulldogs concluded their regular season schedule last Friday with a long road trip to Central Arkansas to face Class 7A Bryant, losing both games by lopsided margins, 11-1 and 10-0. Bulldogs competing hard in 7A/6A Central

In his first season as a head coach, Greenwood’s Trey Holloway has his team playing hard against some of the toughest competition in the state – the 7A/6A Central. In the past two weeks the Diamond ‘Dogs have faced three 7A schools (Conway, Van Buren, Ft. Smith Northside) and two of their top 6A rivals in Siloam Springs and Alma, going 4-2 over that span. With all of the early rainouts, the Bulldogs currently have an overall record of 9-8 and are 3-6 in conference play. Click Here For More

Holloway opens first season with the Bulldogs

Old Man Winter notwithstanding, Greenwood High School head baseball coach Trey Holloway and his Bulldogs were able to squeeze in a game last Tuesday afternoon against the Booneville Bearcats. The game also had special significance for Holloway, who is a Booneville native and was quite the athlete in his prep days at Booneville High before moving on to the University of Arkansas. And to top it off, his Bulldogs came away with a memorable 6-0 victory, his first as a head coach. Click Here For More
