The Bulldogs got back to form on a windy but perfect Saturday for baseball. "We came to the park focused on Saturday and the results indicated it," said Bulldog head coach Randy Gardner.
"Most of the players were already in the cage by the time I got to the park," said Gardner. The Bulldogs would score early and often, especially in a very long at bat for the Bulldogs in the 3rd inning, all in support of Jr. pitcher Hunter Staton.
"Hunter did a good job of working ahead in the count and using his defense," said Gardner. I believe every starter reached base and scored a run in the game. We have the ability to be a very good team if we can stay focused at practice every day and continue to get better."
