The Bulldogs Winning Streak Continues As The Bulldogs Run Ruled The Visiting Bulldogs From Muldrow. The Win Moves Greenwood To 6-2 On The Season With Conference Play Starting Friday With A DoubleHeader Against Huntsville At Eagles Field.
The Bulldogs Wasted Little Time With Muldrow After The Extra Innings Battle Earlier In The Day Against Southside.
In Just Five Innings Of Play The Greenwood Bulldogs Run Ruled The Muldrow Bulldogs 15-0. Winning Pitcher Cory Allison - Worked 4 Innings And Posted 6 Strike Outs. Greenwood Came Out Stong And Fired Up After Their Extra Innings Win Over Fort Smith Southside. The Bats Where Hot! Benincosa Went 3 For 3 With 1 RBI - Black 2 For 2 With 4 RBI's.
This Game Was The First Varsity Game For Several Bulldogs Including Freshman Pitcher Daniel Stegall Who Relieved Allison In The Fifth Inning Of Play. Stegall Didn't Give Up Any Runs- Had One Walk And One Hit Given Up In His First Varsity Outing.
Sophomore Joseph Pirotek (Piro) Came In At Catcher For Benincosa In The 4th- Catching Two Innings.
It Was A Great Day To Be A Bulldog Fan At The Ball Park! Great Wins! Great Weather! Great Food!....And A Little Sunburn..........
