Greenwood (3-1, 10-3) on Monday, March 31 the Diamond Bulldogs made the short trip up to Fort Smith to face Fort Smith Christian in nonconference action.
Greenwood who looked rusty at times last Friday against Greenbrier took advantage of the nonconference game to tune up their game before stepping back into conference play this Friday at Clarksville.
Greenwood wasted little time getting on the score board going up 8-0 after only 2 innings of play. Head Coach Craig Jones took advantage of the lead and replaced all the starters allowing everyone to see playing time.
Mark Leon starting pitcher for the Bulldogs pitched 2 innings giving up only one hit. Jantzen Black pitched the next 2 innings.
Justin Fuchs would then take the mound for the Bulldogs pitching the next 2 innings. He fanned all 6 batters he faced posting 6 strikeouts.
The bats where hot for the Bulldogs. Kaleb Kuhl went 2 for 3 in 2 innings of play with 2 RBI's. Nick Crouch went 1 for 1 with 1 RBI. Joseph Pyrotech went 1 for 2. Travis Deer went 1 for 1 with 1 RBI and Justin Fuchs went 1 for 2.
