Game Write Up And Unsubmitted Pictures By Brian Vaughn

Alma came into the game with a lot more to gain
then Greenwood and it showed in game one. The Bulldogs with Brandon Dunn on the mound started off well scoring one in the first after a triple on a bunt by Cory Allison and a wild throw by Alma over first base. The Dogs would add two more runs in the third led by a double by Jason McDonald. Things would then go cold for the Bulldogs as Alma would rally in the 5th, 6th & 7th innings to win 4-3. Greenwood had opportunties to put the game away. In the 6th inning Greenwood had the bases loaded with only one out, but failed to score any. Brandon Dunn went 6 innings for the Dogs with Cory Allison finishing the last. Casey Benincosa picked off 3 Airedales trying to steal in the game. Daniel Stegal went 2 for 3, Casey Benincosa 2 for 3, Jantzen Black 2 for 3 and Cory Allison 1 for 2 with 1 RBI.
Alma 0 0 0 0 2 1 1--4
Greenwood 1 0 2 0 0 0 0--3
Coach Jones would rally his Bulldogs to finish strong between games and the Bulldogs would respond. Mark Leon took the mound for the Bulldogs and went all seven innings. Greenwood would score one in the 2nd inning, but would open the can and put the game away in the 3rd inning scoring 6. Brandon Dunn had a triple in the 3rd and Kaleb Kuhl a 3 run home run. The Bulldog defense finished the regular season strong holding the Airedales scoreless in game two. Mark Leon caught 2 stealing and posted 4 strikouts for the Bulldogs. Kaleb Kuhl lead the Bulldogs in the offense category going 1 for 3 with his 3 run home run with 4 RBI's. Brandon Dunn went 1 for 3 with a 2 RBI triple and Cory Allison was 1 for 1.
Alma 0 0 0 0 0 0 0--0
