Diamond Dogs Advance After Win Over Crossett
Will Face Magnolia In Quarterfinals

The Greenwood Bulldogs took their #1 seed out of the AAAA-West down to Little Rock Mills to face Crossett out of the southeast.
Jantzen Black started the Bulldogs off in the 1st inning with a home run over the center field fence.
Greenwood added their second and final run of the contest in the there third on a wild pitch by the Eagles pitcher.
"Great game, great pitching duel, one hour thirty-five minutes," said Craig Jones after the 1st round win. We got lucky got some runs early, especially with that solo homer. Missed a lot of opportunities today, had a lot of guys in scoring opportunities today."
Cory Allison pitched all 7-innings allowing 4 hits with 9 strikeouts.
Jantzen Black 1 for 4 with an RBI. Daniel Stegall 3 for 4.
The Bulldogs will face Magnolia in the second round of the AAAA State Tournament.
