Much like the temperature outside the Diamond 'Dogs started their 2004 season out warm but it only got colder as the day went on.
Senior Mark Leon would lead the Bulldogs on the mound to start the game. He was replaced by Daniel Stegall in the 4th inning and Stegall was later replaced by Justin Fuchs in the 6th inning.
Greenwood managed 6 hits for the game, but Springdale picked each pitcher a part for 14 hits in the game.
"Give up 14 hits and walk 7 that don't usually add up to a win," said Bulldog head coach Craig Jones. "We got behind a lot of hitters and when you get behind hitters on a team like that, they're going to make you pay for it"
Cory Allison went 1 for 3 with a RBI. Mark Leon 1-3 with a RBI. Austin Efurd 1-2 with a stolen base.
